A sentimental post

I don't find anything wrong in believing in fairytales. Not the disney princess propaganda versions but the meaning of the word itself. A story so whimsical and magical and above all, unexpected.

Why is it so childish to believe in such things? Is a person wrong if she wants to believe in it? I don't think so, because most who believe in them, have absolutely no intention of becoming a princess of any sort, I can assure you that.

Do you honestly think we are that shallow? Haven't the slightest clue of the surrounding world and what it is like? Living in our little bubble till one day a prince sweeps her off her feet and takes her away? Honestly.

The fairytales we believe in are not the sort printed in books or made into movies. Some guys just don't get that. " Ayy, fairytales are all about prince charming, love and happy endings. So impossible IRL" really? is it that hard to achieve if you stop and think about it?

The world is a cruel place on it's own, there is no need to contribute more. What is so wrong in finding some solace even if it is in the strangest places? We believe in it because it give us hope, that's all. Hope.

We look for the one " prince" because so many others have broken our hearts just because they know they can.

We look for a happy ending because there have been too many sad ones along the way.

Did anyone ever said anything about royalty? Didn't think so.

All we hope for from believing in this is to one day be happy, the happiness we deserve after all the world has thrown at us.

That's why I believe in it.
